For youth, college, and professional athletes, the window to compete at a high level is brief—a precious time to push boundaries, achieve goals, and grow both on and off the field. As a coach, I take pride in empowering athletes to maximize this time so they can look back and know they gave it their all. By teaching mental fitness, I help athletes take proactive steps to navigate challenges, recover from setbacks, and perform with confidence. Mental fitness is dynamic, empowering, and action-oriented. It’s about equipping athletes with tools and strategies to handle life’s complexities, overcome obstacles, and perform at their best. While the mental health space often emphasizes awareness—which is essential—the real transformation occurs when we take action.
Flex Mental Fitness was born from my desire to share these lessons with athletes. My program focuses on self-awareness, resilience-building, and mental tools tailored to the unique challenges of youth and college athletes. We provide an educational, structured approach that empowers athletes to perform with purpose and confidence, prepare for competition, and adapt to life’s transitions. Mental fitness is like weightlifting for the brain—an essential skill set that many athletes haven’t been taught. By investing in mental fitness, athletes can build a strong foundation of resilience and adaptability that enhances their performance on the field and enriches their lives off it.

Erin Egan
Virtual Coach Mentor
Erin is a dedicated health and fitness professional with a strong background in sports performance and rehabilitation. While earning her degree at Daemen University, she excelled as a dual-sport athlete, playing basketball and soccer for the Wildcats. These experiences sparked her passion for bridging rehabilitation with sports performance and functional fitness.
After graduating in 2021, Erin began her career in Boston, working at an orthopedic clinic specializing in sports medicine. Her expertise extends to vestibular therapy and concussion rehabilitation, where she takes a holistic approach to address complex conditions and their related symptoms.
To further enhance her skills, Erin earned the prestigious NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, equipping her to guide individuals through late-stage rehabilitation, return-to-activity programs, and overall fitness development.
Beyond the clinic, Erin stays active by running, working out, and coaching youth basketball. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals.
